Keep active with programs that offer him an opportunity to be with peers. If he is with peers daily in preschool with speech therapy he will quickly "catch up". Staying AWARE of his educational/development needs is a great gift for him. You have given him an excellent start. Keep going!!!!

The key is awareness and you have that part done. Find programs that will help with developmental issues now and stay with them until they give him an all clear. These things are treatable if caught early on. Good for you, give yourself credit for being attentive. He will be just fine with some help of a speech therapist.
